Just thought I would congratulate the state on a job well done.

I figure Montana is as redneck I mean as republican as most of the rest of you but Montana saw through the crap and bit on a piece of straw and said the hell with it something don't smell right on the big ranch....

plus the Montana accent sounds damn close to Canadian eh LOL

Apparently, since Montana doesn't use electronic voting machines from Dibold, the Rebublican powers that be were unable to fix that particular election.....unlike in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004.

The average American DOES need to be protected from Bush and Cheeny. They are a bigger threat to this country than any terrorist.

I am happy your views on politics don't carry over to your knowledge of testing...lmao

that is another unbelievable statement... Bush and Cheney are more dangerous than terroist give a a break.. they were the ones that flew the planes into the trade center...

and anyone who believes that plot was dreamed up between 11-00 and 9-01 is a complete moron.. if clinton had not rape the budget of military to balance the budget our intelligence would have been a hole lot better.

and JT I sure hope your our a voting american.. because if your not you have no right with having any opinions what so ever. now if you are a taxpaying voting american that of course you may total speak your mind on american politics

Here is my small minded opinion on the election. Americans have spoken. We now have a chance to set straight the things republicans have set wrong!

you know what is funny every body has spoken "americans are sick of bush and thats why the democracts won the congress.." blah blah blah.. go do some history research.. has nothing to do with bush and him being the worst...LOL

FDR remember him the best democractic president ever right??? well check how many seats he lost in his 6 year midterm election... over 80!! then check eisenhower over 40 seats lost!!! then your great bill clinton!!! lost more than the 26 bush lost..

so in history Bush's and the republicans 6 year defeat is not that large in the grand scheme of things!!

Of course taxes are going to go up. They have to in order to cover the insane deficit run up by this administration. And yes, I am a voting, tax paying american. I don't have a lot of confidence my vote counts for anything because of the way the electoral college works, but I vote anyway.

I don't believe 9/11 was an inside job by our government, but I do believe Bush, Cheeny and crew have done far more to hurt this country than any terrorist could ever acomplish. That's all I meant with my earlier comment. These guys want a corprate run government, and that's not a government by the people for the people as was intended by the founding fathers.

I too am a voting registered Republican American. I also am a veteran of the unpopular war who everyone seems to be patronizing today. I still can't believe that I live in a country that makes fun of genuine war heros, and worships the draft dodgers who are getting guys slaughtered while saying "they" are spreading democracy. The troops of today will get the same medicine in the future that we did because the couch potato does not care. When I access the freeway I have to do so in a dangerous single lane because the second lane and the guardrail have slid over an embankment; the money is being spent in Iraq not here. It has been this way for over a year. I drive past schools that have metal detectors and sheriff cars parked in front and the kids, most of whom cannot speak English come out in their halter tops and baggie pants and gang stuff they tax me to pay for this. I have to wait through sometimes as many as three stop lights while they have their conversations in the middle of the streets. Finally I get home and get out of my German car, go in and turn on my Mexican Receiver and watch my Chinese TV. I don't buy American anymore, I buy Walmart. You hate mongers don't seem to care that your country is going to hell in a handbasket, you just are sold on the idea that the US is the only superpower and that must mean that you are powerful too [not]. You are right to spread democracy but you should start at home. You also should understand what democracy is and the difference between it and Fascism. Here is the definition of Fascism:*A philosophy or system system of government that advocates or exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right. typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with an ideology of belligerent nationalism. Please truly honor those who gave their lives "...that, that nation might live..." by being just a little bit more receptive of the balance of power that the founders intended and that we so sorely needed.

Sorry, JT, not even close. While I totally agree the current administration spends like there's no end to the supply of money, raising taxes is nothing more than a band-aid fix.

There's so much corruption on Capitol Hill, I'm not sure if we can EVER get it under control. On the part of BOTH parties. Lobbyists, unions, the political correctness attitude this country has right now...will bury us. Terrorists won't have to fire a shot or detonate one bomb. They'll be able to strut in here and just take over, if someone, or some group, doesn't grow some 'nads and take this country back.

The Democrats didn't take the House and Senate from Republicans. The Republicans just handed them the keys. Their arrogance, not their ideas, cost them the 2006 election...and it will cost them the White House in 2008, if they continue down the same path.

Raising taxes is never, repeat NEVER, the solution to anything...except to give the government more money to fuck off.

I couldn't agree more on almost every point you have made. Not all taxes are bad....anthough you better have a damn good reason for taxing me in any way! We'll see how it goes. We got some new blood in there now. We'll see if they have the balls to do right here pretty soon.
