Sometimes it is so simple. I have posted 3 or 4 times and just can't seem to get the answer I need. So here goes again. I have a ROM 102 rev 103 Mili card that is not locked. It has no Gendt08. I have a TSOP from my receiver saved. That is a 3900. When I try and do a GenDT08 it shows no IRD and No box keys. After I run the Calc DT08 and then go to Card patch/check patch it says, Invalid patch data length. So here is what I was thinking. Could I write,program or what ever to this card an IRD and an Box keys from my saved TSOP? I have ROMcode,N2edit,Nagmaster. I have looked for a stickey and nothing shows up. What program do I use to load the IRD and box keys to my card? Thanks to anyone that can help. I love this game but I just keep striking out. Thanks Arms :rolleyes:

Arms;

To understand you correctly; are you saying, you Jtaged your 3900 IRD fine. Then opened the TSOP you saved in FlashEdit and it showed all the info, Boxkeys : IRD # : SW version : Bootstrap, etc. But when you open the same TSOP in GenDT08 you are no seeing the info?.

If that is so your GenDT08.cfg file is missing the 3900 info. Open the GenDt08.cfg file in notepad and see if any mention of // 3900 is there . Let us know.

arms, forget about GenDT08. Get a working bin that already has the dt08 (Any of the AIOs will do.) Use flashedit to edit the TSOP cam, IRD and BK #'s with public #'s. The #'s have to match between card and IRD.

Ok first I would like to thank you. I found an AOI in the VIP Downloads and I changed the IRD# and box keys and flashed my Receiver. All is good. Now It say's write the virgin eprom and to patch my card with a new password, zip code and blackout using the patch in notpad. Do I need to do this or can I just go in and do the ROMCODE I got from MILI or do I need to do both patch and RomCode? I guess the main question is what is the reason for the password if the card is not locked? And do I need to write new tiers before I add the Romcode. Also does a RomCode lock your card? Looks like I am getting closer to TV time. Thanks Arms:D

Hey Arms.........
You didn't say you had Romcode. That's a whole other ballgame.

Romcode is the ultimate AIO. It includes a private bin. All you have to do is go into the settings area and check the private bin box. and select your locals. Then choose your tiers. Add your locals area (town) to the super-tiers and save it with some name like "myTiers" or something like that. You do EVERYTHING for the card from within romcode.

After you have selected the bin and tiers. you just clean and program. Always clean first. When you program, it will display a dialog box that shows your IRD# and BOXKEYS info for the private bin. Write those down!!!!! Just flashedit your TSOP with those numbers and write it back to the box. If you had a working TSOP before, you don't need to create a virgin eeprom, but it does not hurt to do so just in case.

You will love romcode. Once you figure out how to program your card with it, you will be amazed at how easy is it.

Forget Nagramaster, N2Edit, Nagraedit, and any AIO bins you have downloaded. Romcode and flashedit are all you need.

Post back when/if you have more questions or it does not work for you. Romcode is the best. :) :) :)

:D I had a hell of a time with my TSOP. The sucker errored on me and I could not get it to erase so I could write it back. I had to use Wall and unlock to do it, Took me two days and lots of beer. But I am up and running so I want to say thanks and ask one more Question. Do I need to use a Tsop lock? Also should I have my IRD set to except updates? Thank Again ARMS:D
