View Full Version : Our leader

I visit a few sites where they make it their goal to bash our leader. Why? I don't know. Seems something to do with the Magic Card days.

I was not involoved with mili in those times, although I do have a few of the cards and do remember getting burned a little. But it is testing and that is what happens from time to time.

Why these peeps won't let it go is beyond me! I guess none of them have ever made a mistake?

Did mili make a mistake? Anything is possible, but he is not Hi-Tech (<SPIT>)!

The point is that when mili makes a mistake (like with the discounted subs for dish) he does his best to right the situation. Business is business and it is give and take.

IMHO he is a good guy: fair to us, but a businessman too.

Recently I had a "situation" and mili covered for me. I did not ask him too, did not expect it, but he did it anyway. Stepped up to the plate and gave back w/o asking!

A rare person these days, IMHO! He takes pride in what he does and is here for us when we need it.

It's so true Bandit. Sites come and go and bash the big guy while they are around. This site just keeps on going and going like the energizer bunny.

After I see that stuff going on at a site, I just don't go there anymore. This one has everything I need pretty much, and it feels like home to me. Screw those other folks anyway.

I will forever more visualize Mili as a little pink bunny banging on a drum. Pretty scary......

Better than the thought of him in a Wal-Mart fitting room yelling for toilet paper!

How about some things that Mili DIDN'T DO?

Hmmm....he never Hacked and Stole any site's Member List. He never secretly purchased a site and still ran an advertising banner as an FTA dealer. He never maliciously hacked a site and gave the email addresses and names of individuals to Charlie, purely out of spite and hatred toward the owner of that site. He never sold FTA clones that were killed and denied responsibility. He never promised refunds or some compensation and then disappeared.

Can anyone add whatelse Mili DIDN'T DO???

The Magic Card was a real bone of contention; so much that an entire site was formed (it had 10000 members at one time) first to support Magic Card testing and in the end dedicated to one thing - to cracking the sourcecode and destroying the developer and Mili in the process. The administrators were so angry that death threats were actually made. This isn't made up; I witnessed it firsthand. Thank our pal Magician for his invaluable contribution to this mess.

A few old timers remember Alt DSS Hack....an ugly (and false) rumor got started - this has been at least 6 years ago - involving Mili that unbelievably some folks still talk about from time to time. And I thought women were bad about holding grudges:eek:

The latest mess with the DN subscriptions added some fuel to the fire.

And the fact that this site sells hardware for profit brings out the redass in some people. Some folks just can't handle seeing someone make a profit from their money. If you'll notice, very few people slam admins at sites that don't sell product. 10X's admin is viewed as a good ol' hard-working boy, struggling month to month to keep the site open, who has a tough job riding herd on a 50K member site - whereas some view Mili as a Bahamian beach bum who does little but drive back and forth to the bank.

One thing's for certain. 10X's messiah and Mili - and any other site owner/admin who's been around awhile - have learned a long time ago not to worry about the handful of people who sit around and diss them all the time. For every Mili-hater, there's 100 who have no problem with him at all. It's that way in every business; nothing unusual here.

I know the MCS days were bad times, but I really enjoyed argueing with the SOBs over there.
I was called alot of names by those foks back then.. honestly can't remember most of em, but I stood up for what I believed was right and that was Mili and his devotion to his members.
Now, here we are ,over a year later, and Mili is still here, doing for the members and even non-members, all for the advancement of the hobby.

Cheers Mili.. I'll argue for you any day of the week, you know that bud.

Most dealers will sell you some stuff and be done with you.
If it works, you are lucky.
.
If it don't work, you are S. O. L. if they answer yard E-mail there will tell you to go to a forums and figure out how to work it. NO support.
.
mili support every thing she sell as good as she can out of his one pocket !

And no ONE ADD looking for donations or subscription, all the other forums (RomX) is riddle with add to countable now, they are probably making more money the mili, for programs you get get free here.

Yeah man. Budreaux and Chief tore it up over there. I spent most of my time supporting the cards here and didn't post much there, but MAN those guys pulled no punches. I loved reading those posts.

They are both a couple of silver tongued devils so I can think of no one else I would rather have (verbally) defend our home site.

MCS is still around. They just changed their name. At least one of their members is pretty well respected even around here.

Yeah, that was me.... I can;t tell you how many proxies they banned over there that I was using to get in. Hillbilly finally gave up on trying to keep me out and finally started debating with me. BigD was another story.... the old coot was a blast to argue with, but he was bringing a knife to a gun fight. His agenda was obvious and thus he could be steered in the right direction of any argument.
Thos threads did draw alot of attention andin the end noone won.
Just so you know, I spoke with a few folks from here during all that arguing, to make sure I wasn't making any problems for this site... I was defending it, the last thing I wanted was to make some problem any bigger for Mili or our mods, I was given the go ahead and I never looked back.
Chief was great over there and the heat he got was unjustified, but in the end they tried to come after him, and I don;t mean throught the internet. He had to drop out of the scene and that is the biggest loss out of the whole ordeal. IF I could go back and take it all back, just so my best friend in this hobby could come back.. I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Chief, old buddy, I know you read here still, from time to time, and if you ever read this.... I'm truely sorry about how all that ended up for you.. I miss tseeing Chief's posts around here.
Maybe one day he'll be back, if things head in the right direction for him...

Anyways..... those days are over and yeah, I've chilled out alot since then. Don;t get me wrong.. you give me a reason to get fired up and I'll do it, but I don;t just get riled up at a drop of a hat and go at it like that.
Glad you folks enjoyed the reading back then..... hopefully we never have to go through that crap again, but if we do, you can bet your ass I'll be there defending this site at every turn.
