No chanels in 301-010 software P114

Hi to all: I have A little problem with my 301-010 . yesterday I found three IRD's at a yard sale, all with rom 102 rev 103 and after put my hands on them I had success only on two but the last one is giving me just black screen, also say "aquiring satellite signal" alternate with "smart card not inserted correctly". I've seen that the software in the receiver is very old (P114) so, I put it in the stream to chatch the latest update but nothing has happend. is there other way to force the update? I did try erasing the right sector in flash 1 without success. any other sugestion? thanks in advance.

You get this message because the software in your receiver is too old for Rom102 card so yes, you'll have to update it first. I did it once using an old blue card but can't you just jtag the latest software? Are you using public or private info?
