Blocker before subbing?

I have a VIRGIN Rom 102 that I opened prior to subbing on a 501 this afternoon, but then pulled it before the subbed package came on to see if there is a blocker patch that I could put on so that I would not be locked out of the card at 10B....any suggestions?

yah.
load it on a armulator no blocker let it up date to 10B. then dump the arm and save that bin. then open it with N2edit and clean code space patch your A0FF to bin then save.that way you can get in. you should now have sub bin to play with on that 501.

Before you sub that card read this. Seems it takes a while from what I been reading for the virgen ROM to update to the current rev. after you sub it. This is a how to I saved for my future references for a 811 but not any reason it wouldn't work for plastic. I difinitely would try it!!

Here's a C&P of the how to I saved. Hope it still works, post your results if you use it.

Okay I take no responsibility this worked on both of my 811 boxes can’t guarantee it will work for you but I’m willing to share again this is at your own risk!!!!
Step One: Make sure your Icam is placed on a BGA board and is getting an ATR!
Step Two: Make sure your card slot is activated on your box (solder wires to the points where the chip used to be!
Step Three: Unlock Cam: The script I used to unlock was:
ROM102_ND13_A0FF-INTERCEPT-autoVCC_20.XVB
The reason why I’m telling u the script I used was I heard the A0FF Intercept could be installed in different places so I don’t know much about this I just wanted to let u guys know what script I used to install the intercept and ensure you guys have the same success as I have had.
Step Four: I put on Codespace I cam blocker 12.0I (If you don’t know how to place a blocker on the cam got to do some more reading my friend)
Step Five: I let my 811 IRD update to the newest software (381 I think)
Step Six: Write Down the R AND S numbers on the UNATHORIZED Screen
Step Seven : Removed Blocker (in N2edit I did a OneStepClean) Cam was at rev 280
Step Eight: Called d*sh network to activate box
Step Nine: Put in Franken card with icam mounted to it at Rev 280 (Yes blockerless!)
Step Ten: Turn on the box and wait for the not authorized screen to show up
Step Eleven: Wait for the screen to indicated the card is being authorized
Step Twelve: As soon as the message goes away you get the “Congratulations you have a d*sh 500” screen
Step Thirteen: Pull cam !!!!!NOW!!!!
Step Forteen: Put cam in ISO and read
Step Fifteen: All the info needed should be written to the cam
Congratulations you now have a working 811 box -=) Just put the tiers’ you want and an appropriate blocker Ect and ENJOY!

How long ago did you try these ?

Am a bit worried about running card with out blocker and getting locked out if it picks up latest revision.

This step bothers me a great deal. I don't know if I'd take the chance.
