hack_kid & autorolling

I have been using hack_kids blocker and manualy changing keys. I would like to try one of these auto rolls that are out there. Is there something I can patch over this blocker or do I need to start from scratch? I've been here a while but am not real confident on what I am doing yet so please give me hand. I'm not asking for anybody to do it for me just alittle help would be great. Thanks

I don't know if hack kid has an auto roll blocker. Try using pengas blocker and the v28b auto roll add-on. You can get those at rom10x.com.

Im sorry I should have said it more clear. I agree, I don't think hack_kid has a auto roll. I am wondering if I have to start from scratch or if I can just apply penga's blocker to hack_kids all in one. That is what I am running now.

Be careful w/ changeing blockers - the chips & cards don't like it . Clean codespace very good . Some say you don't need to clean , this is true if useing same blkr. but if changeing you should & there's a couple blkrs. out with auto,,,, Also why not try putting together your bin & blcker. than writeing to card that way you can open & compare.

All you need to do is open your hack kid bin, clean codespace, apply penga blocker, apply v28 add on, then re save your bin. Make sure you clean your card to rev 103 before you right to it!

dumb question but how do I get it back to a 103? The card was a 103 but when I clean it, it does not go back to 103. Let me make sure I got this right. 1st get card back to 103. Next write hack_kids all in one then apply penga's blocker then the 28v addon

Then pull your card and open hack kid aio, clean codespace (this clears the blocker), apply pengas blocker, then pengas add on v8b, then hit save. Now put your card back in programmer, read card (should say rev 103) open the bin you just saved and write to card! Read your card again and it should fail at rev 10B.

get a full version of N2edit 2.58 .....unlock your card with your password......do a one step clean...reset atr..it should read rom 102 rev 103...that's pretty simple....LoL.

Go to rom10x and get the cablehater + Penga AIO...in N2edit 2.58 under tool's click on Nagramaster 3.8 ..it will open ...set your time zone...save bin ....close Nagramaster 3.8 ....open your saved bin in N2edit 2.58 ....write to card ...watch TV.

When you read the card and clean the codespace you have only cleaned the image that is in memory. Once your cleaned bin has been written to the card it will be at rev 103 and will show up as such when you read it again.

You can then apply Cable Haters and Pengas 10B blocker which is rolling the keys very nicely thank you. I have been using it for the past week and a half without a hitch.

cleaniong code space does nothing to the card...you clean codespace in the bin you going to load...you can clean codespace with no card in the ISO..LoL.....N2edit 2.58 has the one step clean ...it cleans your card ....don't be fooled by thing's you don't understand......cleaning code space doe's nothing....0 ...zilch to the card...!!!!!!!!! Just a side note to all ...if your not useing N2edit 2.58 ..you should'nt be doing card's..!...it's that simple...the least you have to do every time you do a card is write a clean virgin image to it..the N2edit 2.58 does that for you.

Simply writing another image to the card is going to *F*ck* your card at some point...can't just keep splashing shit on time after time and not get a writting error.

Yah listen to saten. Go to the fileshop.com and get an AIO (all in one) bin with cable haters add on or pengas add on. They both work great! Like satan said cleaning code space does nothing to the card, you have to write back to the card. Good luck!

Maybe it expired or somthing. Download the latest version of mr. tierworks, click on your local and re map it, then press modify bin file and find your aio bin.

Don't use that patch. Use mr. tierworks, check off your local and re map it if you want to. Then press modify bin file and find your AIO. Make sure you have version 2.3

I did that and alittle window pops up and tells me to write that to the card. I go to write it and it says unsupported file type. Ive tried multiple ways and get the same responce

Sorry I had to go before, my brother is being a pain in the ass lol. All I did was download an AIO from thefileshop, with pengas blocker. Then I opened mr. tierworks, selected your local and re-mapped it. I hit modify bin file and re saved it! I will e mail you mr. tierworks with the support files.

Are you writting the new saved bin or are you opening the aio and patching the saved bin?

Did you patch it to the orginal bin first then wrote or did you write it to the card then patched it. I'm guessing if you wrote to the card first then tried to patch it, it would not work cause the blocker would stop you from writitng.

The 510 won't get any HD channels! You need to use an HD receiver.

Is there a list somewhere that tells me which recievers are HD compatiable. I spent good money on the tv so having to buy another reciever isn't any big deal. I would like to keep the dvr feature.

Maybe you should get a dp 522 dual tuner dvr that mili sells, if money is not a problem. Then you can have the dual tuner hooked up on the plasma and another room.

I'm not real sure on the video mod or what ever they do to some recievers. Is there a good HD reciever that you can do just a simple jtag and your up & running? I think most of milis are ready to go except jtaging but I would look other places for alittle cheaper. money is not a big issue but need to keep it within reason. Christmas is a just around the corner.

I think the 6000 is the only one you can j-tag. Maybe you should hook up the 6000 and 510 to the plasma so you have HD cahannels, and dvr functions. You can also just get a cheep 301 or 501 for your kids room.
