Hello, I have been looking high and low for a mod for my old unlooper. I have finally found one, but couldn't find much info on it as far as instructions go. It is pretty self explanatory as far as traces and wires go. Question I have and hopefully somone has seen this board before and can help me is...Don't this mod need the glitch/program switch installed like I've seen on most other mods of this kind? Also if someone could also confirm my thinking on the soldering of this before I ruin something that would be nice also. I am thinking I just need to solder to the pins directly and not have to lift them due to the traces cut on the back side.? If that is wrong can someone give a llittle help? I've been pointed to every mod made on a blue, black, green, red whatever 911 but this is the only one that all the traces and chip layout is exactly the same front and back. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

Has no one ever seen this loader mod before or is there just no one wanting to help me?

I have the same loader as the pictures you posted, that I modded. I hope that is not your loader! There are some major wireing differences from the pictures you posted. Mine is working flawlessly updated with the Max4619 chips and 5K pot. Mine doesn't have a program switch either, I can change flashes with 6&1 dips down. Glitches best with #4 down only. I WILL post pictures of mine when I get to the office in the morning as my camera is there.

Thank you very much! I didn't do anything to my loader yet because of that reason. I don't want to wire it wrong and mess it up. I will look for your pics and go with that. Will it make a difference that mine has the 4053 chips? The cards I have are 102 rev 103's. Also if you could let me know if there are any pins I have to lift when soldering and anything else I may not be able to see that I should do when modding this, and also dip settings you use to flash and then unlock, I would greatly appreciate that also. Thanks again!

Heres the pictures of my loader and another front view that shows the cuts on the front side, removal of led, attachment of pot. This is enough info to get you going. You will have to have a switch if your going to flash your atmel, I got it confused with another loader. (SomeTimers must have kicked in) I mainly use an ISO for everything now that they are open. You'll CLOSE the switch and have the no. 1 & 6 swich down to flash. Then make sure switch is OPEN and with 2&5 down to glitch, read, and write. 4 down works better with the new MAX chips for me. I would use Nagra Master to get in those 103's with your 4053's. Turn the pot down to where it stops glitching and then back up a hair, they should pop real quick.

Thank you very much for the pics and the help. I have an iso that I used to use on dave also. I changed out the crystal so it now has the 3.6864 and I can use that once I get the cards opened. Thanks again!
