We have some great members here and Bandit also. I hope you guys have a great day and all is well in your part of the world.I am already eating way to many Sausage balls and I forsee in the very near future a very bad belly ache later on today.I am very lucky that I can eat enough to even get one so if you can try and help ONE person today who is not as lucky as us.

We'll be eating conventional Thanksgiving fare here, and not a lot of it. There's just 3 of us around the TS ponderosa this day.

Here's just a few of the things I'm thankful for:

1) A father, unlike no other, who was blessed with 90+ years of life on this earth until he passed this past spring.
2) Ditto for Mom, who's been gone awhile but is never far from my thoughts.
3) My family, some of who occasionally need a public flogging but are family nonetheless.
4) The fact that I'm here - despite some health problems, I'm doin' OK and could be a hell of a lot worse.
5) A country that in spite of its problems is still a great place to live. Think about it. We could all be living in Iraq - or Darfur.
6) The fact that I'll be eating a nice dinner today, have a warm home to live in and clothes on my body. Half the world has none of these. God has blessed me beyond measure, and for that, I am most thankful.

7) And last, my forum buddies right here at DSSFTP, including all my Liberal pals who feel free to tee off on me all the time.:D
