Help with 4053 chip to 4619

Can anyone tell me if the 4619 chips have to be placed a certain way I have just replaced the 2 4053D chips on my moded T911 at U6 and U7 and when I try to re flash with Newd 13 ,I get Failed could not locate active Atmel ..Unable to locate hex files does this mean the chips are backwards or ?? anyones Help would be greatly appreciated. :( The + Dimple is located on both chips on the bottom left facing Pic

The dimple or dot on the chip goes at the end were on the board there should be a "U" shape and the label on the board for U6 or U7 is also usually the end that the dimple goes on.

if it says unable to locate hex files, make sure you have all the files for the flash in the same folder...looks like u have the chips in right....

Well I was able to get Hex files loaded but I am still getting Could not find Active Atmel Any sugestions ?

change the flash settings in the program...i believe u right click and change to 60-5-1 and make sure u have the right dips down when u flash

Hey Stud can you give me more info on how to change Atmel setings I can't seem to come up with any settings like you mentioned when I right click on XPAtmel prog.

click on any gray spot in the program...right click i believe
