Looks like quite a project. Big block that motor on pic 1 looks like?

That looks like a Hemi sitting there in the first pic... if so, I'm jealous.

This car begs for the new 409 aluminum block and heads 'W' engine, dual 4 barrels, roller cam, 454 stroker crankshaft to make 598 cubes.

Just to be 'different'.

In the first pic it looks like a small block chevy, but I could be wrong, but that is what my guess would be. BTW what kind of car is that? Nice looking body on that thing

its a 65 chevy corvair, monza 500.it has 2.7 flat 6.the engine has a cam, headers, and a holly 4bbl.body has shaved door handles, fender flares, cowl hood(just for looks, the engine is in the back).i just got it out on the road for a test drive (on a country road),car drives really good.it dosent have alot of low end power but pulls good in the mids and high rpm's.i have been working on this one for about 2 years.the engine in the first pic is a sbc,but thats another project.

Ralph would be bummed,I rebuilt a few of those engines, the last one had a turbo and we ported the heads lots, alumininum is easy with sharp cutters--What cfm is the carb? can't use a very big carb on a 164 cu inch engine

carb is a holly 400 (4160) with manual secondaries.when i ran the carb size formula i came up with about 370 cfm.this was the closest and cheapest carb i could find.i think i would rather have a 390 with vac secondaries.anybody know of a good uphostlery shop in the dfw area?

What is it? Hood looks like a camaro, but the front end definately isn't and the roofline looks like a corvair but perhaps just the angle and all the glass is out. Someone has played with it before you, all that add on wheel arch crap.

How you going to cool that big block, there is no grille opening? If I were you, would go dead stock on the body/interior....if you want the highest resale should you ever have to sell it.

Looks like a three year project (part time)!!
