Trying to flash my new ACR30 ISO loader with xp atmel and get error saying cannot find active atmel
Can some one tell me how to set up a iso programmer with a usb interface and be able to figure out what comm port the usb is using

heres the problem...u dont flash iso....u flash an unlocker

How do I figure out what com port my usb is connected to? Or is there a adapter for usb to the 9 pin serial port

if the ACR30 is a newer one it will not work...to try and test it open N2edit and click the blue read button with the card in programmer...gold side up if it reads then you and in good shape
BTW
if the card is locked it will not read all the card just stuff like ATR,rom,rev and so on
