Is there any benefit when using one or the other? I have a couple of both cards as well as rom 3s and have been using the rom 2. Would I benefit from using the rom 10 instead? Thx, SidsDad

zakolo, The hm-dsr100u is a dish 5000 with a built in digital vcr it was made several years ago by JVC for dishnetwork. This is a great machine that has never been ecm'd. I began using an avr3, 3 or so years ago then had my card to be unlocked and used plastic ever since!!

the benafit to using a rom 2 over the others is you can run with no blocker on the card so when they attack the blockers you sail right trought with no problems, that is untill they decide to attackt the 3m and loop the card whitch has and will happen again. They have just been going after blockers and digital tsop locks for a while now.
