Locked 311

I have two of charlie's 311 with a small sub, I removed one for economy(that's what i told them) and replaced it with a plastic 301, when plastics went down, I put back the 311 and it had no programming. I called charlie and they tried twice to give it programming but they did not succeed. I then asked them If i they could exchage for the other 311 and after changing boxes they opened the other box and gave it programming. The one that did not work turns on and shows the inicial box with the trasponder number changing but wont accept any signal sent from charlie. Does any body know what happend to this box? Is there something i can do with it to open it up or is it only good for a doorstop?

Depends on what rev it's at. Hook up to your tv (minus sat cable) and go to system info. Post back here what rev you have.

I really don't know about Rev's so I'll just tell you what it says here. DP 311---Software P318 ----b-316 and I guess the others would be the ID of the box It also says there is a problem with the connections, Problem 835 whatever that means. Can you do something with this Info? What can I do with this ******box?

On my 311, I go to system info screen number 3 and at the top of the screen it will say DNASP XXX revXXX. Give that a try and report back.

Nothing you can do with it right now...rev 289's are unlockable at this time.
