thanks fluff that site had been slow for me too but i did get one. i flashed u7 and a vir eep, hooked it up and 101 was on. guide all red and fw at 063. tried menu 611 but it wouldn't let me in to the dish pointing screen. also every 20 seconds it gives me 019, then goes away, then comes back. i left it for several hours to stream and update both with the card in and not with no results, still at 063. went to reflash and i knocked one of the r44 wires off. the pad came off with it and i can't get it to reattach to the board. i am wondering why i can't get to dish pointing in the menu, why won't it update since it is set to auto, why the 019, and is there a way to fix the broken pad? TIA

hmmm, i'm not sure about the broken pad being repairable. it pays to be extra careful, and taking your time.

as for your updating...is your TSOP Lock switched off?
it can be that simple.

try reflashing, then reflash a second time right after that. make sure all other unnecessary programs are off. sometimes low RAM and low CPU can cause problems.

hope this helps.

here's the thing, with the r44 pad removed i don't think i can flash it as it is. that is the point to apply 9v to while writing. the r44 mod is removed, there is no lock. maybe skin's around, love to hear what he thinks as well.
