problems with dp508 signal

I just finished installing p063 virgin firmware and virgin eeprom dcka build from p306 firmware (was on it when i got it) harddrive seems to be married to reciever and boxkeys to card with public keys do not get any nags when i hook up reciever to dp+ d*sh that i know is pointed correctly I have no signal, I ran check switch and it did see the dp+ switch on port 2 and it says sat is conn on both 119 and 110, but no signal and under that it says problem detected check connections I am out of ideas tried 3 differend firmwares but havent tried p363. my question is does the p306 and below not support dp+ lnb's or another problem somewhere. and if anyone has the p363 firmware for dcka build and would share would be appreciated.

OK really dumb question for you, after you flashed for p063, You said it seems to be married ?
Also how did you get it to only 306 since steaming to let it update would bring it to a differnet rev. ?
after rev update , did the reciever start without problems, no errors, I tried three difffernt firmware, has me kinda confused, let it stream up date with an atmega or other blockered card !

It says it's for 501, but I think it still works with a 508.

sorry to confuse, the p306 was on the ird when i got it so I downloaded p063 tsop and eeprom and followed the instructions so the harddrive would be married to the new boxkeys and card and then I tried to stream update to newest firmware but i cant get the reciever to show any signal strength on 119 or 110 but it does see the dp+ lnb's wasent sure if it was a reciever problem or firmware.
and i think it is married because im not getting any harddrive errors

firmware didn't fix the problem i put p363 on and still same problem and also checked voltage on sat in on reviever and got 13-16 vdc so hopefully reciever isn't dead going to hook up to single lnb and try next, any other ideas

I always have problems with my dvrs like that when I am trying to marry the hd. The last one I did I was trying to marry a 510 hard drive to it, and was having problems like you. I updated it with that tsop and used the eeprom from my other 501/510 and finaly got it. Maybe try puting another eeprom on it. Look for some public eeproms or try making another one.
