hmm well let's see...
So you jtagged to no rsa numbers right? and the ird software is current?
and you tried no rsa pfgs?
when you say you tried the latest pfg, you mean the one the autoroll one? Cuz autoroll isn't working right now, so you have to enter the keys manually, which you say you did and they seemed to take ok?
in your min tier setting in jeepers, does it say 15ca? if so change it to 16D2
if you are using a 2800 IRd, I have read that some 2800s are having problems with the pfg. Too much info on pfg and not enough brain on 2800. So then you need to take some of the tiers off to make the pfg a bit smaller.
But before doing that I would check to be sure all your setting in jeepers are correct again and try a couple of other pfgs. You're trying to get Dish 500 I assume? and that's what you selected in jeepers?

It's a keys issue, make sure you have the correct keys...

Yeah, so to be sure....
After you have entered the latest keys in Jeepers.... with your card in programmer select Atmel, then Atmega 128, then erase flash/eeprom. Do it three times though I am not sure the extra 2 make a difference
Then do Full Monty
also, make sure when you enter keys you put in 0 as in number and not as in letter 0 lol
I laugh but I have done that
oh and when you have it back in ird do a check switch too

i have 2 atmegas with 3 pin jumpers that program fine fuse settings are fine but when i put in receiver all i get is guide. I programmed 2 jumperless atmegas the same way and they work. i noticed that the three pin atmegas are about a quarter inch longer than the jumperless atmegas i have could this be the problem

Ok, I worked!!!!! for a while though. I putted the latest key and write it with board 18.00MHZ. I watched TV for the whole afternoon, then the tv went black. after i reput my card in, it appears "your smart card has not insert correctly" I checked on my card, the little number on it is 18.4, so i tried to write the program with Board 18.432MHZ, same problem. then i switch back to 18.00MHZ, I sometimes can watch the tv for a while and then the same problem came all over again.

I had to go back to the first version of "wicked 3b" to get mine to work . It seems the autoroll version wouldn't work even though I put the current keys in.

The Smartcard not inserted error some times come up when putting card in, I had it yesterday. But I gave it a couple of more tries and it took. But if in your case it persists I guess it could be something else?
I'm entering keys manually on latest wicked autoroll pfg on 301.10 (writing with 18.432) and no problems except for occasional freezing bouts that can last up to a minute or 2.
I wonder if on the 2800 the freeze causes the unit to go black?

use an old satvia pfg and it allows you to use the write keys function instead of having to do a full monty.. write keys takes about 3 seconds using an old satvia pfg.

not a hijack i swear, just a quick question abouot the freezing. i read about changing the clock speed to 9MHz and how that may reduce freezing. anyone know if there's any truth to this, my experience was no, but i wanted to see your guyses view.

Same here!! I had to go back to wicked_3b to get it to work. AutoRoll doesn't seem to work for me. Anybody know why??..

AR bin didn't AR ...they're working on it.
White Stuff, I dunno if playing w/speeds would affect freezing. It seems to help some people with their 2800 probs, from what I have read.

Is the latest and greatest fix for atmega in the file section auto rolling or is it still a manual key process? Thanks!

I'm currently using the newest wicked pfg on a 2800 and haven't had a freeze in the last 24 hrs. I see Smilingjack posted a key change but it's not active yet, so time will tell..................later all
