View Full Version : Skinerd, 501 with 120gb
My new refurbished 120gb (Maxtor 4r120L0) just got here. Am replacinging my dead 40gb.
My saved tsop is U7 p363. When I look at it in flashedit it is normal (non moved BS or ird numbers). But in all the P079 and P080 files I find on the forums , they all have moved BS.
I tried the moved BS p079 with my ird and BK and correct build to marry HD, and then re-install my saved p363. I get all my channels but no pvr functions (error 0457). Did the check of cables. HD does fire up, but dont think I'm getting that HD married.
Any help please? Thanks.

0457 means it is not seeing the HDD. Check the cable connections at both ends and have the HDD set for master. If that doesn`t do it, since the HDD is new, maybe a bad cable - not likely, but maybe. Just some things to check till Skinerd`s around. Good luck.
Is the HD on the compatability list? The #s have to match exactly as I have seen 1 number be off and they will NOT work.
Thanks for answering. Hardrive is exact. A long time ago I used gendto8 to make a 102 and a tsop work together. My tsop p363 is not a moved BS or moved ird #'s. But all I can find is moved BS's (p078, p080 ect) I think I need to make another gendt08 tsop and card match with a moved BS. Just grinding my wheels.

yeah i agree is not seeing the harddisk
0457 *NO HARDDRIVE* Check cable make sure there connected! If that Fails it DEAD! Replace CABLES OR HARDDRIVE! Also check that drive is set for master rather than slave.
the drive is on the compatible list I know that much I checked that but good thought though
