hi guys im in south carolina, i have just tried to realign my dish (it got knocked out of alignment from wind last night) i have the elev correct the skew is correct and i scan the sky and only can get 119, when i do a check switch is says sat 129 ok and 119 ok, when i look at the signal strength for 129 it is dead, what gives? is 129 close enough to 110 to maybe pick that up by mistake? maybe my receiver is not caluculating correct? anyone know a what is wrong?
thanks in advance

You might have to switch transponders to get any signal. Some are not active on a particular satellite.

looks like i am picking up sat 119 and sat 129 but im only getting transponder 24 and 32. is it possible the skew is out or the elev is out i have it set by the peak elevation on the receiver.
anyone have this problem b4?

If this is a dish500, you are pointing just a bit too far to the west. You are picking up 119 on the 110 lnb and 129 on the 119 lnb. Just move is slightly to the east so the lnbs are picking up the correct sat. Might even cover up the 110 lnb eye so you know when you get 119, you are getting it through the 119 lnb.

Funny thing, now you got ME thinking.

I was up messing around on the roof yesterday, and I lost the 119 sat ... just the opposite of your problem. But in reading, it gave me an idea, maybe it isn't the DNet Pro I have the problem with, maybe I bumped into it and didn't notice.

Bye for now, I have to get up on the roof and check that out.

Thanks.
