Not a pro at this science by any means, but 1 of the many things I have learned here is, never ever throw anything away.

There are many little uses for all kinds of things.Hell people are paying for the BGA cards to fix the I-Cams to.You could try that.They are like the AVR-X's.The rumor is they are working again cloned.

It along with every other past device by the magician is useless. Even though they have the potential and capabilities of still working. I'd be pissed as hell if I was an AVR-X owner (learned my lesson the first time) who saw the enema card hit the market. The enema card is the same thing without the jtag interface. Wowie a new card with LESS features and as of yet worse support (not like the support for the AVR-X was much better). The magician would sell boat loads more cards if had just continued to support the AVR-X and just sold more of them. ::SIGH::
I've seen a mod for the AVR-X to turn it into an atmega card. If I remember correctly, the mod didn't seem worth the effort given the price of new Atmega cards.
