Enigma card review!

I am very happy with my enigma so far! It has been running flawlessly in my 501/510 for a week. There is no freezing at all and it runs just like a real rom 102! The card is very easy to program. The only problem is when I use my own bin or edit theres with my locals and time zone, it programs the default time zone and tiers. 3.5 should fix these problems, and I think should be released soon. Oh almost forgot, it auto-rolls!! I highly recomend this card to everyone! :cool::D

So....I should just be able to load my Rom 102 bin from my 510 onto the Enigma and all is fine?

You can load the 102 bin, but your timezone will be Eastern and your locals will be AWOL.

Supposed to be fixed with the next release, 3.5.

How can you tell that AR works????? Keys last rolled over a week ago, 10 days to be exact!!

I test my other options by programming incorrect keys and seeing if they roll. Don't have an Enigma so I don't know if that's an option.

He didn't mention if he was testing on Dish or Bev. That would answer the autoroll question as Chalie may of not changed keys until today but Bev did.

What do you meen? 102 cards don't auto-roll either. All of the problems with auto-roll and tiers should be fixed in 3.5.

This thing does not really use the bin. may use some info but the bin would update if it did.

SJ, I lost all my 102 cards with the 12/12 loop. If you use auto-roll won't you get looped? airzerker, that should be fixed in the next version.

I've read many "reviews" pols etc, and yet to come up with a clear picture.
Considering the probable "source" of this card, couple questions arise.

Has anybody actually determined what kind of mpu we're talking about?
How much if any external eeprom is available?

Myself I have bad feeling, a dejavu of sorts.
Seeing another atmega163 release with promises of "dedicated cryptographic
processors" etc.
To the point, can anyone supply the actual part number for the mpu on enigma cards?
If not can anyone count the pins on the mpu, and the size of package?
Are there any other chips on the card ?
If so how many pins, possible markings?

All of this could go a loonger way as to establish this card legitimacy than
all the reviews type " mine freezes every hour" or "mine doesnt".

I don't need to go back and forth. Some people just don't want to see reality. My point is if this is what it was advertized it would not need to be fixed in 3.5, it would update older rev bins to the current rev. If someone chooses to put a blocker on a 102 to block the autoroll that is there choice. If this was what it was advertised then you would also be able to run a blocker(if for some reason you wanted to). If this was what was promised the source code would be released. Wether or not things will be fixed has nothing to do with the fact that what you bought is not what was promised. For some reason a lot of people don't mind being lied to. It is your choice to buy or not buy. It is foolish to try and defind a bunch of lies. Facts are facts. I peronally choose to stay away from someone who lis to me up front.

hacker, could you please tell me why does enigma need a blocker? I've heard somewhere that it autorolls on bev but blockerless? Why to put a blocker on an emulation card?

I get 019 on my 6000 dish receiver and 019 error on my 301-010 receiver. The card is thin so I tried putting a card behind it and tried a business card. Still nothing. Sure glad I only bought one this time. Just like the Avr-x we were always waiting for the next software update.

As far as your 019 nag put card in reciever and leave it,Walk away for 20-30 min it will take.It is not a connection problem it is a timing problem with the software and certain ird models.This finding was by members and not by the supporting staff like all other issues the card has.To make sure after your card has been in ird for a few min flashing the 019 nag check the system info and see if your ird is recognizing your card you should see 102 rev10b or 102rev147.If it shows that it will take just takes a long time to do so.Let me know if it works for you.I fought for almost a month when I discovered it by mistake.I put card in and out 100 times but the time it worked the phone rang and I forgot all about the card being in the ird.Was working when I came back.Well that was before b3v changed their map call.
