Step by Step for noobs

Can anyone post a step by step? I want to buy an enigma but dont know what to do, I dont know if you have to do a tsop mod or not? I read how you change the box keys, but the last thing I messed with was the avr-x(very simple) please help I am sure a lot of people would appreciate it I have a 3900 and a 310-013 thanks for any help

You need a vid mod on the 301.13 but not the 3900. You should first do the 3900 it is very easy to program. You need to do soldering to the 301.13.

From what I've read the buggers are working just fine.

Thanks SJ---------Does anyone know once you program your enigma and put it in the stream, do you have to take the latest software update for the 3900 or can it work with an older one Thanks

the program was written for the newest software as of last month.

ok got my card, programmed waited for keys to roll--never did, and when i went to try to change the keys manually it said card update failed--any suggestions
