2 upgrades going to 301's

anyone notice there are 2 upgrades going to 301's??
x390 and p390?

The "X" is because whatever you are using as a cam (plastic, atmega, emluation, etc) has the commercial sports tier on it. Take away that tier and away goes the "X".

And the commercial sports tier doesn't get you get channels that you can't get with other tiers- just ESPN, ESPN2, and another channel or two.

Mine upgraded to X390 and I have been running the same bin on it for a year without taking a commercial upgrade. I do not have a commercial tier on the card, but I do have a wide open tier for 0001 to 1000.

If it has never updated to commercial before, why did it do it now?

X308 and x390 will not ever update.

I updated a 301.13 and a 301.10 today. The .10 updated to P3.90 and the .13 updated to P3.44. The X means nothing other than a commercial tier is on the testing device, what ever it may be. These updates have been in the stream since November 30 of last year.
