301.13 2 tsop fta conversion

Hello all, please forgive my noobish questions but I've done allot of reading about the fta conversion and I havent had any success as of yet.

I found a mod "dish_013_completo_110_119(2ChipU12).bin" with a eeprom file that is supposed to mod a 2 tsop 301.13 to fta. The bin is only writting to the 2nd tsop and the eeprom.

I used a 302.13 2 chip box and applied the bin and eeprom using jkeys. I dont have a vid mod but I did get a good read and write using the ground switch.

The ird boot up and displays the new "mexican mafia" screen and all the menus seem to work. However I dont get any signal. I tried replacing my legacy quad 500 lnb with a dP twin but still no luck.

Also, the box seems to make a buzzing noise when scanning for the sats.?

Anyway, I have a few questions I'm hoping somebody can answer. I'll try and keep them simple.

1- Will the legacy quad lnb for for FTA? Will the DP twin?

2- is the vid mod for more than just writting and using older rom cards? Is it a must for FTA?

3- has anyone got this working on a 2 tsop 301?

Well, Got it working on the quad legacy, Found channels can watch preview channels for dish.

Anyone else working with this build? I have know idea where to add the keys to decrypt.

ok, found them (nice hiding spot in parental controls) Still no decryption. Keep trying

I am using the 301.13 with the original flash. There are types of dual tsops. One does not need a vid mod which it sounds like you have. I have dish pro lnb and get a few channels. Not even close to all of them.

im not having any lich with decryption...

Tried auto pull of keys and manually entering them.

ok, reflashed and started over. I'm gettin some channels to decrypt now but some still say scrambled.....

With my 500 lagacy quad lnb, should I be using dishpro lnb type or standard? I seem to get signal on both.
