Can anyone else that has one of these tell me what chip is on theirs?

I was able to get the black stuff off the chip, but it looks like someone scratched out the part numbers on the chip itself.

Thanks in advance,

Root

Someone always takes it apart and see if they could 'clone' them
good luck, post back here if you find it what is it
(and post a diagram with the other parts too)

Just curious, it was advertised as having an arm chip. And I was just trying to confirm that is what is really running it.

Nothing underhanded in my question!!!

Thanks,

Root

Since it is not built around the ARM7 chip as advertised, then I should be able to get my money back then???

Can you supply me with confirmation on the chip SJ?

Thanks,

Root

I hope you meant that as a joke, but if not I will spell it out for you.

That isn't how these deals work. 90% of what they advertise is not true, they just tell you that to get you to buy, the money flows in one direction in scams like this. Had you figured something out in the begining they would have taken care of you to keep you from blowing thier cover, but the enigma is at the end of it's development cycle, you are way to late in the game to get a refund. The mods and coder have already split on the enigma site.

Good news is they will have a new and improved card for you to buy shortly, no more then 6 months tops!!

Atmega is ARM. You guys remind me when bitching that a Nexus I sell does not have the 4619 but the AT2313 chip in it. Get a clue please.

Could you count the number of pins on the chip?
Better yet could you post a closeup pic of the package (chip)?
Thanks.

No need to be so aprehensive, all I asked for was some factual info thats all.
I'm not trying to clone it or anything, just trying to verify the claims, like autoupdate revisions, testing blockers, etc
Just wanted to know if the chip being used has enough memory to even incorporate the full rom/eeprom of the real 102, thats all.
Afaik no atmega has that capability, even atmega256 still has only 4Kb of eeprom
far short of ~26Kb needded.

ps. Mili , this time you're dead wrong , atmega is NOT arm. Not by any streach of imagination.
It is like saing plumouth is lexus?
If so I have nice 99 neon for sale , only $30,000 , would you buy it?
They're both cars after all.

GOD damn DUDE!!!
This aint the place to bitch about those fucking enigma cards.
Not only do we not know we dont care!!
Like SJ says we are not support or a cry to site for this thing. Sorry I wished I could help.

I dont understand , all the fuss about asking for some basic info.
Here or somewhere else , sooner or later I'm gonna get it.
Believie it or not but some events (not related to 12/12) had left me cardless.
I'm seriously considering a purchase, considering the latest lexus posts (you know where),
I dont think that atmega will do the job.
Again I'll buy armulator if I could, I can't (for a decent price) then the enigma seems to be the only choice.
But before I buy I'd like to know if some of the claims are true, that's all.
Anything wrong with that?

This post without moderation would end up being a bitch fest.
The question about the chip has been asked on many forums about many devices.
I doubt raising it again in this thread will bring any new results in the quest.

What part of "as advertised" has anything to do with this thread's first post?

Thats what I am saying. It is already getting stated and MUST be nipped in the bud!

Relax, no part of my posts were directed at you or mili, (maybe except my pontiac

Seems that he's been able to remove the gunk from the chip.
All I'd like to know is , if he was able to count the pins/ or post a pic.

I hope I explained my motivation well enough.
If I was after clonning I'd buy the thing already, wouldnt have to ask these questions.
Matter of a fact is I'm too cheap to just buy , without any research.

No nobody knows what the chip is
No nobody know what the programming is.
.
That the only was the inventor make any money.
Otherwise there would be clones coming all over the place.
.
This conversion has run it course
