I have dish pro twin lnbs. My 811 receiver worked for 5 months until a month ago it couldn't find signal at some transponders liked 2,4,6,8,12,14... on both 110 and 119. The signal strengths on 110 is 100 and 119 is 110. The results is I don't have many channels on those transponders ( First only transponder 4 dropped, and now it keeps loosing transponders like above ) I swapped the lnbs, no help. but when I connected a viewsat, or a 311 receiver, they had all channels, and signals are good. Does anyone know this problem?

Did you try running a checkswitch again??

And do you have update software without permission?

Sorry, I was out of town. I did check switch. Rebooted receiver, created a new bin with a new expired date. No help. What do you mean update software without permission? Is there a update for 811 receiver now? Thanks for reply.

If you firmware on your recevier is not up to date.. You will start losing
channels... I do not know where the 811 is at as I dont have one..

I am just guessing here..

P382 is current for 811's
Try checking both Superdish & Alternate before running checkswitches.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong ?

No, I have tried checking Superdish & Alternate as raddude suggested before the check switch. It didn't help. Now, I found out that all of my even transponders of 110 and 119 are blocked ( searching for signal ), but all of my transponders of 61.5 are good, I have all hd channels, so my 110 and 119 lnbs may have some thing wrong, after checking switch done, here are results:
110: odd, 119: odd, 65.1: all,
But when I connect it to a viewsat, I have all channels, so I'm lost.
