Ok, I am considering spending money on toys that get me out of the house. I am looking at 2 options, a sled that my buddy has or search for a quad. My friend has a 1995 Arctic Cat zr700 for $1500. I currently have a 77 Panther which my buddie woudl buy for $500. So the sled would cost me $1000. The 1995 sled is in great shape and runs really well. My other option is to continue to save and buy an older quad. Something 4x4 and in the $2500 range. Then I would keep the 77 panther and hope I find something in my price range.
What are your thoughts on my problem?
Any input welcome. . .

Boy toys. Depends on the weather. If it was at my place, I'd say go with the sled.....but it snows here four months of the year. Course, the 4x4 is good in the snow too.

I have thought about it for quite sometime. I get snow 4 months a year aswell. Guess its the sled. The 700 should be fuckin near airborn. The guy who has it now said it needs a really large strong man to control it. Someone just like you and he pointed at me. I am sure I'll kill myself on it but who wants to live forever?

LOL, right on. He came back at $1600 and I took it. I think its a sweet deal. New clutch, new track, new coil, and about 3000 km on it. Should last me for years and be very fast. I am excited. Any suggestions on how to tell my wife now? I don't quite know how to navigate that one. I know its always easier to ask forgiveness than permission so eventually she should get over it right? Still any suggestions on this would be welcomed.
Put a not i your wallet saying "in case of accident send all my testing stuff to FUBR'.!
I will taegood car of your stuff bro.

I am placing the note in there now. I am certain I will die on that sled. Or more accurately, when I come off it at a rediculious speed while under the influence.

So I went and gotthe sled with a buddy of mine. We went and thought we shoudl take it for a quick buzz. I took it around for a few minutes and then he did. When he came back to the truck, He put it into a slide on the road, caught some snow. . . and rolled it. Broke the kill switch and cracked the hood. Had it for about 10 minutes. . . But it sure was a fun 10 minutes. And wholly fuck that sucker is fast. 75 mph and about half throttle to go. Unreal. . .
I really like it. Thanks again for all the advice guys.
