schottky diode how do I install one

I have a white case nexus from here and I would like to try the diode mod, has anyone got the info for this. I was able to pop 4 109's and looped 4 (50,50 not bad)
and the 10B's popped 2 out of 7 (not so good)

The mod is simple, 5817 Schottky diode. Annode to cardslot vcc, cathode(the end of the diode with a band around it) to +5v side of the voltage regulator.
there are many diffrent photos around
as long as u have the band side to the 5v direction you are set

how would I find the vcc point to attach the schottky diode to on my white case nexus. I have a picture of the bottom of my nexus but I cant seem to upload it?

Im in the same boat, I can do just about anything that have detailed instruction ( providing im familiar) and or pictures but i cant seem to figure this one out does anyone with a white nexus that had this mod mind taking a picture of where the two ends go.. please?

looking at the above picture, on the white nexus the first 4 solder points from left to right do not exist....so basically just solder on the first
