Hi I am moving to Edmonton, Alberta. I heard that 18 inches dishes don't work there. i need bigger ones. Can some one guide me which size dish i need to get a good reception there. TIA

yep, I have a 1metre getting 110. I also have it all setup

to get dishnet your going to need at least 33" with a cystal clear view .

otherwise your going to be looking at 36 - 42 inch dishes .

you'll get 110 with 18" alright just not all the transponders....24" recommended but still not all transponders due to spot beaming....never did try for 119 that far north......was able to get 110 as far north as fort mcmurray with 18" dish......signal around 65% max that far up though.....of course the larger the pan the stronger the signal on the transponders you can get.....ps bring warm clothes

Is bracket will work there if i used 33 " dish and aim it on 110 , can i get 119. Any thoughts. Thanx for your (spanga)advise.

Yes the 33 inch dish will work with 110 and 119 running it and works good.
