I just gotta dish 500 off my bud. 6 months ago when i was serching for nimiq sat i found the charlie 110 sat in like 1 minute(Of course because i was not looking for that 1) Now i am having a hell orf a time. I have my skew, eleavation, and azimuth down. When i do the check swith test(trying both switches i have) It read no switch box detected. I am starting to get pretty frusterated and any help would be greatly appreciated.

ok ive been at this for hours and still cant find the sat. like i said, ive locked on to it before, so i know it is possible from here.
If ird is not detecting the check switch, IS this why i cant find 110 sat.
Things are going to start getting broken soon.lol
thnx

well two days later still cant find sat. Ive use 3 different recievers, two different sattelites, crimped new rg-6 compression connectors on the cable. Used a compass and tried every elevation. Ive used several sat findin sites, but to no avail, i cant even get a measly blip on my screen. My dish is on my balcony so i have easy access, but i cant stay out there for 3 days turning it back and forth.
I have no idea what im gonna do now, especially with superbowl in two days.

Well, hopefully the lnb isn`t bad or you`ll never find the signal. Also like SJ said, remove the switch for sure until you get a signal. Second thought, since this sounds like a new dish to you, is it possibly a dishpro lnb on the dish? If you are using a legacy receiver to try to find the signal with a DP lnb, then you will only receive the odd numbered TPs. So search for TP11 which is a fairly strong TP. Just a shot in the dark since I don`t know what equipment you`re using. Good luck.

Turn off all sat LNBs that you are NOT trying to lign up and turn only the one on that your are aiming. Then turn on the nest one you lign up with the previous one off. After ligning, turn all on.
