My 2 cents on the Enigma card

I would hold off buying this card if you dont have it already... If you think about it, that Dish network already threatened the hosting site this can't be a good sign.. THis basically means Dish is aware of the Enigma Card and will star implementing measures to counter the card... If I recall, this never happened w/ the AVR-X sites or the Magic 2 card sites.... So not sure how long those cards went under the Dish networks radar. But seing that the enigma card came out not even a month ago and Dish has already found out about it ... I would place my investments in getting a ROM Card....

I don't own one but my opinion is opposite yours. If anyone thinks that either DN or Kudelski don't monitor all sat related sites and usenet groups, wake up and smell the coffee.

All hardware related to their access cards are in Nagra's Labs and been closelyy examined. My .02 cents worth is that they bullied the Hosting site and they complied, but and here's the big one...............the Enigma card has to be a big threat which they have no definate counter measures for.

if i could have the 2 cents for every 2 cents of opinion given on enigma, i could buy one and then give my 2 cents worth of opinion....and at the end of this pay it forward event, we would all conclude it was as good as magic card/avrx - which was simple to use but no flexibility due to locked code. there were good times and frustrating times.

Totally Agree....just hope one day we can get the first mile out of this card, then we can worry with the hiccups..
