Can someone please help me with this problem. My Enigma "TEST CARD" is okay, then the "ROM" load successfully; but when I attempt to load the eeprom I keep getting "USB->BAD CPU-? RPM->? EEPROM->?"
I changed PC's and also tried diffferent versions and I'm still getting the same error. I have 2 brand new enigmas and they're both giving me the same errors?? Any ideas to slove this problem would really be appreciated.
Thanks

Check milis new sticky and try to keep the cable short.
I was having the exact same issue. I found that 3.4 would load the eeprom perfectly every time, while 3.5 would fail 90% of the time. This did not vary with the various usb cables I tried.
3.5 program does not work proply -try 3.4 and laod keys as needed

I read that there are 2 kinds of cables that will fit the card a 4 pin and a 5 pin.The 5 pin is what is needed.Might try slight wiggles of connection on card. But I am sure it has to be either cable or drivers I do not think it is your card but it could be.they sell them everywhere ebay as low as 2.99 plus small shipping fee. Including the propper cable with card would be a heck of a nice bonus in future enigmacard sales.Just a suggestion but would solve a lot of problems down the road.I have seen many posts of this same issue and 7 outa 10 is cable 2 is drivers and 1 actual dud cards.

Yep, you are correct my most informed fa-rend...............Cable was too long. I had a USB extension cable and when I removed it, the EEPROM load successfully.
Thanks to all for their input.
