4.0 s/w will not

i`m having a hard time updating the keys in 3.9 & 4.0 all goes back to the the ones in the s/w will not write them

Are you using the public keys at the top?

yes they are on the card but they are wrong have the new one i put them in than update card .then i read card a the old key are still there.

Did you put spaces between them?

Actually Micky, the keys should not matter because 4.0 should autoroll, put the card in and wait a few minutes

I've never had luck getting the little 'update keys' box to work. The only way I've ever been able to manually update keys is to load the default Enigma bin in DT Tierworks, for example...click the key icon, copy and paste the current keys in the two boxes, click 'save and write keys', then click 'modify bin file'.

Then load the modified default EEprom in the EnigmaEdit program.

Enigma 4.0, DN version, rolled for me today but I can't say how long it took. The television was off for about 6 hours (receiver remained on) and it worked fine when I turned the set on tonight about 8PM.

have space key86 is correct key 96 is wrong.and i have had in long time 30min before i pull it and try each time . 3 hours know . what is the way to write the key when wrong. in the eeprom bin in the s/w they are wrong ?

Put New Keys In Hit Update Keys Then Program Card You Are Done

now i have a 129 error .have been doing that dog1 will try some more before i hammer it out'

these enigma cards are so sensitive its either a hit or miss when u program it,i've only used 2 versions with success first i got lucky 3.3b then the keys rolled i tried 3.8 and zeroed out the private and with these new keys i cant get any other version to work but 3.3b i did try 3.7/3.9/4.0 either it just keeps rebooting from 005 /019 back to 005 over and over so i tried 3.3b again up and running after hours of playing
