Wierd Enigma

I wanted to do a few more tests before posting that one my egnimas is faulty. When I installed the public d*sh bin I get the usual the card inserted is not valid for this receiver. This is the CAM ID that shows up in systems info S00 5052 9027-30.

Then I try the public B*v bin and get the same card inserted is not valid
for this receiver. This is the CAM ID that shows in the systems info S01
0191 3350-53
Whenever I use my private bin I get CAM ID S00 0000 0000-00

I believe that even though this card passes the "TEST CARD" and it loads the
"ROM" and the "EEPROM" successfully it is still faulty. What do you guys think cause this is really freaking me out.

BY THE WAY, Bishop doesn't respond to my emails regarding this issue so I can't go to him.

One of my cards does the same thing. I have reprogramed it at least 50 times and get a different S00 # every time. Not sure if it's the chip or the USB connection is faulty.Anyway your card and my card are no good. We should be able to get replacement cards but I don't know how to go about doihg that!

If you purchased yours from Bishop then you're just as phuqued as I am. If you got yours from Mili I think he'd replace it for ya.

I purchased an enigma card from Mili and I tried everything, but it isn't working for the 4900 or 6000 reciever. A second card programmed from the same usb connection is working great. I need a card replacement.

well guy`s add me to the list also mili want`s me to tell the history of what i am doing my card is doing the same thing 4 different SO numbers and all are no good.usb works some of the time must be loose. but when i first got it and still error out .no card or memory bad. software is 4.2enigma with a 301- 01 s/w at p391. i just got done 6.0hrs of fu k ing around with card i can not fix got card 3/14 and still cannot use it have tried 3 computers same old sh t.

i don't have my Enigma yet, but i have some expirience with programming flashes and eeproms via USB. I don't know why but for some reason different USB cables WILL NOT WORK. typically if you are like me and have USB cables from say SONY devices. I cannot flash the my Xbox modchip with this cable. I also noticed that in my BIOS/CMOS settings on my PC, USB was set to 1.0 / 2.0 and i changed it to just 1.0 and it worked fine (with a new cable). I am not sure what the bundle on the end of some USB cables is (an EM trap?), but that is what can make the cable not work as well.

I don't know if this will help, but i know that sometimes its something retarded that prevents it from working... not faulty hardware/card.

Aslo what OS are you using 98, Millenium, 2000? I have had trouble with all of them. XP Pro has given me litle trouble.
