I bought a 2001 300m with a 3.5 from a dealer about 2 yrs ago. This thing has been a lemon from day 1. I have never spent so much money in repairs in my life. The dealer says it was his dads car and it was well taken care of and have never had any troubles with it. He says his dad upgraded to a newer car and really didn't want to sell it but his dad didn't have the room for 2 cars. I talked to his dad and this was the best car he ever owned. The dealer had a 20pt inspection done and everything was ok as he said. So I buy it. about six months later I start having troubles. I take it to a chrysler repair shop and they said this thing was in here all the time for something. The shop manager says didn't you see the 20pt inspection we gave on this car? Yea I did it looked good. Shop manager said I must of not see the right one cause this one was not good. Make a long story short. The motor is now knocking. I need some quick fix to help quite a knock. I don't care if it's a 24hr fix and comes back. On Thursdays this dealer is gone and he has a guy fill in. Thats the day I'm gonna go trade this car back to this dealer. What goes around comes around. I have over $3500.00 in receipts that I have done to this car so I should get a good price for trade from this "fill-in" on a thursday. Any quick fixes anybodys aware of? I realy need one. Soory for the long post but I need to get this dealer back and what a better way then the crapy car he sold me.

Bummer about the car , a lemon fucks your life up don't it .
STP & GUNK , and many others make products that will reduce the knocking (Temporarily) you just pour in with your oil . Good Luck
