Bad Audio on a Sony DSS receiver

Does anyone know of a fix for the (on & off) bad audio
on a Sony SAT A50 ? The Audio will be fine then suddenly distort
until one changes the channel. (Makes if bad for recording).

try using a different connector....s-video/AV cables and see if its the same prob

Are you using 3M? Sounds like you are and being hashed when audio is out. Try the previous post out and still experience the same problem. Try a new 3M or activation.
