I have a sony lap top with windows xp and today I installed bit defender with the crack. After I installed it and re booted my laptop was very slow and froze a lot. I thought it must be bitdefender, so I uninstalled it and re booted. It booted up very slow again and bitdefender still booted up! It obviously didn't uninstall all of it so I went to the program files and tried to delete the folder with bitdefender but it froze. I manualy shut down the computer and now when I start it up, it constantly reboots. What do I have to do to get this back up and running? I don't want to lose all my programs on there. Thanks in advance

Hey Hacker,Try turning puter off, wait a minute, then turn on and hold down f8 key while it boots up,u will here a bunch of beeps, then let go,then hopefully it will load in safe mode.
If it does, then go to system restore and back up at least to your last good restore point.
Hope this helps.

Glad you got it but.....
what if someone gets yelled at for not typing in search bar for system restore and askes the same question?
They type it in and se this thread.... They think "oh hell yeah this rocks!!!!"
then they get to this part..
Never mind I found it will post back

this one is not so bad, it is a short thread, I have read threads 4 pages long only to see a poster pop in and say, Nevermind I found it. lol
so, right click on my computer select properties
then\
system restore tab, make sure it says monitoring for each drive you want to save setings for.
It will not give you your files back but it will save your ass on the settings.
Also make a note, anytime you install craks you are taking a risk on getting trojans, rootkits, virus ect, ect,
make sure firewall is always set to not allow the program to call home and scan before even unziping it.
adware, spyware, malware is rampant, sucks for some.....job security for others :) ;0

fubar = curmudgeon!
At least let the lad enjoy his success!
just a good place to make a point.
sometimes you have to take one for the team and be an example
Perhaps the meaning of your life is to serve as a warning to others.
I know many a mornings I have woke up and wished I could do a system restore on myself and do yesterday over
Here is the answer to all your problems. A quick and easy to follow lesson on how to load vista onto your machine.
I tried this myself. Worked perfectly.

Only works on Toby Keith, fubar! Must be a problem with your drivers! It may be you need to update the "scratch and sniff" driver or your restore point was off by several years?
