Do we still need to use the default

IRD #: 011C746C
Boxkeys: 8CA6A88CFDE2E263

Or can we use our own.. If so what do I need to change in order to be able to
you my default IRD # and boxkeys that came with my receiver..

Thanks

you can use private numbers, and probably should. Even though Chuckles has not hit IRDs in a long time.

If you have a card that was an ex-sub in the IRD you want to test with, then the card already has everything you need on it. Just update tiers and apply blocker.

Of course, if you have a 510, and you change the IRD and/or BK info, you will have to remarry the hard drive.

The problem I was having before was that I used Flashedit to make changes to my TSOP... to the ones provided by enigma... I never checked to make sure the data was saved ... and for some reason it didn't save it ... So I used
GenDT08_SK to make the changes to the TSOP and then save them... I rechecked and opened it in Flashedit to make sure the changes were saved... and everything seemed to be working perfectly... So I erased my TSOP 3 times and then programmed only on Flash II under 510 select and when I went to read the TSOP the changes I made were saved... Now I opened enigmaedit and programmed my card... Loaded ROM twice and Loaded EEPROM twice... I didn't change anything ... left it all to the default... I selected DISh and 510 IRD from the list.. I successfully programmed the card.. Now when I insert the card... the receiver turns on, and no picture... I keep going in a cycle of turning on seing on the screen please wait while the hard drive spin up... Then the receiver turns off for couple seconds.. Then it comes back on and does the same exact thing... So basically the receiver is in a cycle of turning on and off... Any suggestions on how to fix this..
Thanks

Two pics attached show the before and after receiver data move, SK removal mentioned above. The last 16 lines of flash file from U7, (flash 2).
This works 100% of the time for me.........

<<Before>>
Receiver number, boxkeys, CRC, and, SKs are located from 003FFF40 thru 03FFF9F

<<After>>
003FFF40 thru 003FFF9F are "FF"ed out, removing old receiver number, boxkeys, and SKs.
new receiver number, boxkeys and CRC are relocated (added) beginning at 003FFFCO.
