hi all, i'm new to this, my best friend used to walk me thru all this stuff.........unfortunally for me and others he Passed away on 1/20/07......problem: was using bin.286ta yesterday everything stopped dead. tried to get info last nite but was not to sure on what to do. today someone sent new bin292.....first i put in new bin. than i went thru 110/119 put in channels than i changed the keys .....because they were taken out w/new bin NOTHING than i hit return to defalt ok than i went thru 110/119 put in channels than i changed the keys again and SUCCESS all chanels were working (by the way i have a FORTEC STAR ULTRA) THAN EVERY THING WENT OUT AND HAS NOT COME BACK..........am i close i solving this problem or what thankyou in advance for any help you might give me roger flash

You killed your box.

What I mean is that you will half to J Tag your box to get power back up on it I will send you a PM where you can find the files.

Never use BL bins yes it says 292 but the one you should of used was the 292 by chancy it will have a T at the end of the number.

Load the factory file for the unit first then the 292T.

Then you should be good.

Some do that at times.

thanks again......now i have to find the file??? another friend is looking in his stuff for the file too!!!!! i will start looking my self now and soon as i get home i will try it and let you know.......

hey crow492, got it up and running workes very well with one small problem.... it seems to reboot for no reason every 4hrs......it just goes smack no signal on screen and come on again wanting to download the EPG
and than it fine so far it's done it twice i am not going to be up for the third.....gotta get some sleep.
by the way i never got that file from you......also the auto roll must be working because it did it by it'self.

You got to turn all your autoroll's off and leave KEY EMU on it will still autoroll.
