You will need Cemu 1.72.
The Public IRD numbers are the same as for the Atmega and the 102. FD BF 2E. . . I forget them off hand but those are the ones you are looking for. You shoudl be able to find them in the TSOP Bank in the public Downloads.
How about someone posting a .pfg file with public info for Jeepers to flash avr? I have been trying to get cemu working, didn't realize that public info had to be loaded in avr using older Jeepers program. Do we need to load a cam id?

what you need to do first of all is alot of reading. the cemu stuff on the web is for public info. You can go to the fileshop and dl one of their packages that have been uploaded there. Shoudl have all you need. There are detailed how to's all over the place. EMU is simple once you figure out how to do the cable, set the computer, and flash the chip on your avr.
as for tips on the flashing of your chip. the 10b flash works fine for bev and dish. find a working 10b flash for your avr and all will be simple after that. Keep reading, and you'll figure it out

I have been reading and reading and reading. I can't seem to find my problem. Dos booted from floppy gets stuck after showing keys. I can't seem to get puter to send info to avr. I tried shorter cable. I used Quincy to enter box keys etc. Get menu. 10b flash has grey areas for box key etc. Does cemu populate avr with box keys and ird number automatically? My Ird is j-tagged with public info. I did not do anything with dishbin, bevbin???

OK . . . did you make a buffered cable?
is your com port on?
have you tested it out of windows rather than dos?
did you add the capacitor to the avr?
did you successfully flash your chip?
Are you using com 2 by accident?
are you using a laptop?
it sometimes appears to freeze after the keys load but its running.

What capacitor to avr? Flash confirmed by ird info. Com 1 on both computers, tried via Xp and booted from dos on W98 computer. Re-read avr after attempts and no new data present. What fields did you have filled in the Jeepers flash program?
Did you have box keys etc in greyed areas when programming avr? I read somewhere that avr can lack power to communicate??
After two months of trying any advice is appreciated. On boot disk I did the com, time zone and zip code, what changes to dishbin, bev bin?? Using 2700 avr3 for B3V

I don't have all my stuff in front of me here because I am at work. But to use an avr for CEMU, you require a buffered cable and you need to solder in a capacitor, I beleive its between pin 9 and 20, but i woudl have to look at the documentation i have at home. I was told this is the reset the avr but once again I have no clue to be honest. I will see if I can find the thing on making a cable. I think i remember where I found it.

I would really appreciate any help. I did not use the buffered cable as I read that as long as you were careful a non resistor cable would work better(with careful wiring i.e. no shorts).
I knew about the zener diodes in the cable, but not about a capacitor on the avr. I have been trying to find a comport test and also more about the dish or bevbin read programs(Nagredit etc). I once used my avr as a blocker and that is when I started to have greyed areas. If someone could would post a working .jfg file from Jeepers I could compare it with mine(for your security scramble personal info please).
