Found a program called auxshare over at the fileshop. Previously it was used to share 2 IRD's with a single CAM using ST19XL. This new version has support for Map57. Are there any other map functions that are currently being used? I have an older PC to run this on and I am going to pick that up this evening and see if I can get it to work. Seems you need to have a dedicated card server, auxshare, pc running DOS. Then your ST19XL clients can be anything. I'll post my results as soon as I get to test it out.

You need a ST19XL to use that
only that will work with it

I know that, I was wondering what other map calls are currently being used besides 57? is 3b still in use?
I am going to run st19xl on my desktop (where i am currently running 2 instances of cemu) then I just picked up another pc to run auxshare. What can I expect to get running auxshare without an aux card, using only the builtin map57 functions?

st19xl is much trouble to bother with
CEMU is easier
I have not tried auxshare. I thought you still had to use at least one aux.
I find st19xl much easier than cemu mainly due to the fact that st19xl uses a real rom102 image instead of the rom 10 102 emulation. real 102 has much more tier flexibility.
Just my opinion. Am not running any emu right now.

See, now wouldn't you know it, I'm a Cemu guy. You really only need about ten tiers anyway if your running a DP receiver. Why do I always have to walk a different path than those I respect? Something is wrong with me dag nabbit! :o I like not having to Aux a rom.....although that method does have it's benifits. I havn't even touced a rom in months. I think that's a good thing. You can run Cemu as a service, and run as many receivers off it at one time as you have com ports all on one machine. That's why I prefer it to st19xl.....although you can do the same with st19xl if you don't aux a rom...and with new software, more than one receiver with only one rom now allegedly. Sounds great to me. The more options the merrier. Cemu won't adapt to new map calls...yet, but that's in the works, and other than that Cemu has all the bells and whistles as st19xl. As for the map call routine, I have no idea why chuckles isn't changing things up more often. I sure as shit would be. Maybe he's realized how easy it is for us to adapt to the new routines, we can only guess. So far we've only even seen three different map calls that I can recall off hand. That's pretty pathetic considering the options available to him. Even Bev is only going through an unusually small range of map calls. I'm not one that enjoys a challenge necesarily, but this is really getting rediculous. If I were a teenager I'd say this is getting boring.....but as an adult, I know that only boring people get bored.:)

I would love to run auxshare, but you HAVE TO connect each emu client and aux iso with a null modem cable. This also means that the pc can't be very far away from the ird.
Right now, I have the pc in basement and is connected to max/mel with cat5 cable. So, auxshare is not an option for me. Besides, I already have a dual tuner ird running 2 tv's, and I don't need another. I just have a 1 bedroom duplex!!!
ST19 is MUCH easier to setup compared to cemu, which runs on outdated code. Just throw the st19.rom, st19.cor, st19xl.exe files onto a floppy and reboot pc. You have tv in seconds. However, you do have to have more equipment to run st19.
All in all, it is good that their are different emu options. Actually i think their is a third called cam master.
