I have been out of the game for a long time now since the big Bell change.
I am now looking to get back in the game but I would like some advice on what kind of things I should get so that I can get up and running again.
I have 2 3100 IRD's with the new cards and 2 2700 IRD's with no cards.
I was using an old AVR6 with autoroll but I am not shure if it's a fishing weight or not now.

I'm not sure about the AVR but if those cards in the 3100s are rom102s your good. If they're 501s they,re no good. Check them on the system info screen.

I belive the cards in the 3100's are 102.
As for the 2700's I don't have any cards for them. I got them cheep at a Goodwill. I would like to know if there is anything that can be done with them?

the 3100's with 102 are definatley usable especially if they are ex subbed cards. unlock program and watch man
the 2700's can be used have to get emu or cards, or enigma card to program with them, a Unlocker would be best, you can program with it too. so killing two birds with one stone. you will have to unlock the 102's

How about a 2700 with a old card. I heard some people are converting them to dishnet and using the card with a avr card is a 288-11
