Hello Everyone....

I'm thinking of tring this all over again, and I'm wondering whats working, and what is not working... I gave up back in December when BEV fried my plastic card, and just went back to SUB....

I currently have a 5100 with a new card.. I'm sure this new card is useless to me... I used to run EMU back in the day, and was thinking of going back to that. I have an old AVR i purchased from funnydish many years ago which used to work really well with EMU since it's got the phone jack built right into it....

So if someone can please just let me know whats running (autoroll would be really nice), and what is not running... and maybe point me in the right direction with what is working... That would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks all!

i am a bit of a emu newb myself and am unsure if your avr is still gonna work, 2 chip emu is reccomended a max and mel they are called. and yes autoroll is up and working however i believe alot of people have problems getting it going with private numbers on any 5xxx boxes. Version 1.8 is out for cemu. the authors of these scrits will not release compiled working executables but only source code that you must compile into executables. there is a few out there i guess, i know i seen one called channelmaster or something like that , that was fully compiled. use the searchbutton. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can jump in here and help you further, in the meantime use the search button and do some looking around.

I have many 510's converted to private numbers and running on ST19XL emu
You need a pent two or higher pc with two com ports.
A internal maxmel emu board - homemaid or readymaid
a iso loader and unlocked rom 102 card flashed with a aux image

I first convert the 510 from public no's to private using the Gendt08 program.
Once running on private no's with a blocker good - conver to emu

Read alot - the info is there - then ask questions

Thanks for the info guys, I'll look around for more info... One other thing, can I run EMU without making any changes to my IRD??? The plan is to keep basic sub on my plastic card I currently have running, and swap back and forth if need be....

Thanks!
