OK, I need some input guys...I managed to get my hands on a second hand box (DP---301 box) card married to the box.... as I blew the rev 108 card this week..

This means its a later type card? 109 rev? right???

Is this unlockable>?
if so, any pointers on the best script for it??
And any best settings for the WHite Nexus 2&5 (just 3 or is this what stuffed my 108)

I'm running the nexus at 270 ohm as per some threads.. what in fact is this relative to, is it glitching voltage???

Before you go looking for any script you need to find out exactly what the card is. You can either set it up to a TV (with sat cable disconnected) and look at the system info screen or put the card in a programmer and reset the card to acquire the necessary info.

he has white nexus, stick the card in the loader and reset in n2edit , simple. i run mine at around 700 ohms and for 107-108 i use rom 10x unlocker, you can find my modified scripts for white nexus in glitching section as a sticky. for 109 you must use rebelsurf 109_247 unlocker, it is for 109 and 10B

Yup been using that script also, for some strange reason the card hasn't been in the box for over a year but comes up as a ROM102-109 :-(

anyway I have tried the script Crazy_179 said, but that seems to have now looped this card also !!

Oh well back to the drawing board I suppose, I set the Nexus to 100 ohms, and was working up..got to 250 ohms, then NO RESET responce..

So, is it best to work down with the pot or work up Crazy_179
looks to me like i should have gone for the higher setting...

Crazy_179 dont suppose you have a set of perameters that have worked for you over the last say 6 months, I'm blind on this... I have been used to 16C154 PIC's and ATMEL wafers...

onward and upward, I'll have a quick try and reviving the cards. (cant do more harm now anyway)

they started releasing them from factory at rev 109 at on point i believe, you mistake number one, the lower the ohms, more chance to loop a rule of thumb, never go below 200-250 is a rule of thumb, I run at 700 ohms all the time, never move it. i adjust other things in scripts instead of ohms, were you adjusting ohms as you ran script? BIG NO NO< never adjust pot while script is running, your chances of unlooping are less than .0001 percent. I looped a 109 yesterday as well. shit happens. pissed me off but what can i do? done is done. 99 percent of the time this is my setup on my nexus. pot is 700 ohms, no loop diode mod is a must. (search for no loop diode mod you will find the info you seek, this is very important upgrade) 12 volt power supply, dips 2 and 5 down. for 10B (109 the same i guess however i am 0 for 1 on rev 109) DAMNIT!! lol, i use standard script settlign except i change vs1 from 46 to 32 and I let it run a whole cycle of delays.

you are right, we started glitching in rom 10 days, you could hook them up to the wall outlet and they wouldnt loop, never looped one rom 10 or rom 3. so I sculpted my ability to unlock card then, and don't think i ahven't looped some myself, I have looped them, maybe 10 out of 100 or better. 90 percent is a good percentage for rom 102's and rom 101's

Crazy_179, thanks so very much for the tips my friend, I actually read about the Schottky mod, and to be honest i never checked the Nexus, I figured it had been done, suppose i was just to keen to get glitching, and now hence the dropped bollock, but as they say its a learning curve!!


have a handle on the pot now, set it and unless needed, leave alone, will work on tweaking the timing aspect via the scripts, opposed to the VR.

All points noted Crazy, I've printed your comments and stuck them on the work bench as my rules of the game, excellent info just what i was looking for... to guide me along my quest.

Will also mod with Diode,..

I also located some ATR repair scripts, which I'll try, maybe/maybe not.. its worth a go, I figure....I have no more cards to try so...lets try a reapir job.

Have you ever had much luck with these Crazy?

Crazy, other than the MOSC cards (Yellow Dish500) is there any other options for this, or is this the major route forward to opening the box?
