Thinkng of using spare PC.Kinda bored and want something to do.500mhz P3 w/128m ram enough?Also,what's a good cheap video card for DVB?This one has no s-video.Thanks

That's old PC wont do it unless you want a hardware decoder card. I've never used hardware decoder card, too expensive for me. I use Twinhan 102G and I love it. It goes for about $80. As for CPU to run a software decoder card, I'd say 1.8Ghz minimum. 1GB of Ram is preffered. Any cheap video card will do (you don't want active cooling - too noisy). Mine is Celeron 2.5GHz, 1 GB RAM, Video with DVI out so I hook it directly to my HDTV. I love it.
