sk and dt08?

hi guys!
I am new to this testing field and really want to get in.Please bear with me!!.I got few questions:
1. What is SK and DT08?
2.I have 510pvr and is running both on rom102 and atmega.I used jkeys to get some info and it has the following info:
Ird number: R0018642028
Box Keys: 8C A6 A8 8C FD E2 E2 63
I have another bell3100 receiver (301-010)and it was subscribed a while ago.I succesfully jtagged it.I want to use the same atmega(that i am using on pvr510) on bell 3100 to watch charlie. Is it possible if I just delete the SA3 sector of flash1 of my bell3100 and update it through streaming and then after change the ird no. and box keys to R0018642028 and 8C A6 A8 8C FD E2 E2 63 and just use the same atmega in 3100? please give me some information!!!

SK = secondary keys, which the PVR 510 has on the TSOP. DT08 is the "primary keys." So, if you want to run a rom 102 card, then you would have to remove the SK.

It's already flashed to the public box keys and SK has probably already been removed.

If the TSOP is a B3V TSOP (what does jkeys tell you?), then you will have to change the IRD # and box keys BEFORE stream updating to test D!$hnet.

Thanks TLK!!! The TSOP in my 3100 receiver is origally from bev.Is there any need to remove sk from bev TSOP to use it for charlie with atmega(one I am using with 510)?

No. 3100/301.010s are already DT08. You WILL need to jtag them with the Charlie key set, though. Use FlashEdit to change your TSOP information.

Thanks again TLK!! Please double check my procedure what I am going to do get charlie on bev receiver using atmega:
1.I will save my TSOP from bev3100 on computer using Jkeys
2.will edit TSOP using flashedit and enter public key set (IRD no.,Cam id and box keys)for charlie
3.reload TSOP back to the receiver(no need to do anything to eeprom)
4.After checking(see if the receiver powers up)I will erase SA3 sector of flash and will let the receiver stream update. and after updating it should work with my currently running atmega.Could you please check this procedure. Thanks..

if you are chaning from bev to charlie you need to flash a virgin eeprom. just save the eeprom open it in flashedit and select save virgin eeprom. then flash that to receiver before you restream to charlie

No.

Crazy1_79 is right. Step #4 should be write virgin EEPROM and stream. You should get video within 20 minutes.

what LK said is correct. as long as you flash eep and erase sector it will work. (order of which occurs is not important)

Thanks guys for help.My receiver is running on charlie now!! But I had to use wall for uploading flash.I was having problems with Jkeys.Thanks again!!
