I started trying yestarday with Bev 2700 IRD (and dish/LNB) using the Enigma card and JTAG programmer I just received from mili. But no luck so far, and do need more guidance from you guys. Guess some basics involved, well it's hard for me as a newbie.

Here what I got:
1) Backed up IRD TSOP, and write in Dishnet IRD#/Boxkeys using Jkeys/Flashedit:
IRD #: 011C746C
Boxkeys: 8C A6 A8 8C FD E2 E2 63

Used EnigmaEdit4.4a to program the card with the given ROM and EEPROM DISHNET bins. Select Provider "DISH", and click "PROGRAM CARD" without touching ECM keys and Tier Editor.

Got the card into IRD, it gave black screen for over 20 minutes, then shows up Searching Satellite... Connected cable, and got to the Point Dish page. The Satellite shown on screen is still "Nimiq 91" (Bev).

Pointing the dish to Ecostar I/II, no response even after long trying. But can get 90% signal when pointing back to the Bev one, well it says "Wrong Sat".

2) I decided to turn to BEV channels instead. Did the TSOP with Bev ones:
IRD #: 02AF04CA
Boxkeys: FD BF 2E 56 AF FA 72 64

Programmed card with the Bev EEPROM bin from 4.4a. Insert card, and got response after 20 min. Then after another super long waiting, only a few channles came up on Bev Program Guide. The IRD takes minutes to respond to a button push on remote control. No channel is viewable, it says "no subscription, and need purchase...".

Please help... Many thanks.

i see where you said that now. sorry, is bev up right now? that is what we must find out cuz it looks like you did everything right. did you select your receiver model from the list? the keys should roll in 5 minutes or so, no more than 15

No, still the same. But now it takes less time. Each time put the card in, takes about 10 min to get screen response. The program guide has headers in there, but takes forever to populate the channel list. still none viewable.

Yes, IRD 2700/2800 has been selected.

Now Bev is working!!!

System Info suddenly gives this: Under Smart Card CA ID, a new row added up => NEW Card Ready: DNASP102 Rev247

This could be the reason? - this IRD has not been in use for 6 years. So it took many hours to update something? I kept it on whole last night.

Thanks everybody who offered great help in the forum.

I still wonder why can't find dishnet bird.

glad to hear you are up, i'm down again lol. i thought since the one card was working i'll read it and then program the other, well i mixed them up, did the wrong one and now for the life of me i can't get either working. i just keep programming over and over, and the best i can do is get a picture for a second, or black screen or the 005 nag.
