Hey guys/gals! Just wondering what kind of hardware everyone is running Cemu with.

I've got a homemade Max/Mel board, and I *was* using private numbers until everything went 100% Rom102 and up and there was the period where Cemu didn't support Rom101/102.

When I got back into Cemu again about 6 months ago, I couldn't get the newer releases (Cemu 10b) to work with my private numbers. Had to go all public numbers.

Just wondering if anyone else out there is havin luck running Cemu with an internal Max/Mel and their own numbers!!

Thanks!

Everything is good to go no probs here. Just need to do some reading.

I am using public numbers right now as well. I have tinkered with private but the rom 10to102 bin used is what hurts me, if it supported actual rom 102 eeps. then it would be piece of cake.

Yea I've been reading ... believe me. Like I said, I had all my stuff going with private #s when there was nothing to read for Cemu, then (I believe it was the switch to Rom102?? Been so long I dont remember) I had to switch to plastic. Came back to Cemu when 10b came out, and cannot for the life of me get it to work. It's been awhile and I've had other things going on so I don't even remember the symptoms ... whether it was black screen or 005, or just red channels in guide.

I'm living out of a hotel right now so haven't had the chance to tinker some more, and won't be able to for another month or two, but I just wanted to see if other dudes were having success ... so now I have a goal since it's definitely possible.

Thanks.

YESS!! That is *exactly* where I remember running into problems. I did everything as methodically as I could, and still could never get the 10to102 running private #s.

I agree ... 102 support would be the heat ... it would also allow for more tier space in the eeprom too, right ?

You can use private numbers, but it's no where near as cookbook as going with the public NoRSA stuff. Like Crazy said, if we could use an actual rom102 .bin we'd be in fat city; and I suspect it's possible. I just don't know how. If the need arises I'm sure that's exactly what we'll be doing. We've got several different versions of Cemu floating around these days. Some are more versital than others. But as far as I know, they're all working right now. Some autoroll, some don't. Ask your questions in a couple months once your not living in a hotel and we'll have more up to date responses for ya.

the eeprom is read from the rom10 bin the bin address is show. that is in source somewhere has to be. now can we just change it to a 18kb 102 eeprom address'? that is what i do not know about, jmp and subroutines may have to be implemented as well so cemu knows what to do. I do not know enough about source code to verify any of this, just my thoughts.

And they're good thoughts Crazy. My main point was that at this point most all of the files out there are already set up to run with public info, which makes it all very easy. At some point you got to think Charlie's going to take the current public numbers away from us. It been said many times before, but I can't fathom why we're still able to use them. On the flip side, all we'd have to do is use a different set of public numbers to get things going again, so what's the point in taking the current ones away from us? We wouldn't even have to go with an official rom102.bin. All we'd have to do is change the rom10to102 info and we'd be off and running again.

Havn't even tried them yet bro. I been pretty irresponsible this weekend. (I told you about the weirdness I got going on in PM. Gotta go there while you can right?:D ) Got to finish building a new box, then I'm gonna test them. I did add the necessary .bin and it appeared to start and run ok. Course, there was no box on the other end. What I already have is running great. So rather than unpluging anything I'm gonna finish the new box and then run it on my test bench and see how it goes. Thank you very much too btw. I should run some bev if for no other reason than to catch up on some of this stuff. Already got two boxes and everything hooked up and ready to go with public info for the northern bitch.

Good stuff, fellas. Crazy I'm with you homes ... I just like a good challenge, trying to make stuff work, and of course going against the grain! Like 8 months ago I remember being so close to getting the private stuff up and running, but roommate and girlfriend pressure forced me into public #s (not to mention I needed some PPV!!)
