I am verry pissed off at scherbius! For months all he does is make more and more promises he can't keep. And what happens when very smart and helpful people make suggestions or report a problem, they get BANNED. Coolgrin has had enigma cards from the very begining and was very helpful to everybody, he is now banned for no reason. Scherbius is also attacking advanced coders, saying they work for dish network. Thanks for letting me vent a little, hopefully things will get better for the enigma. Coolgrin I am verry sorry to see you are banned bro.

Totally agree on Coolgrin. Completely ridiculous to ban such an insightful and helpful member over there. Hopefully, it will just be temporary, like Namvet.
I think it was Coolgrin's ROM10x posts that got them tripping.

.....and if your that upset with enigma and crew, there are pleanty of other options out there these days.

I hope I can be permitted to get this off my chest as well.
Why is someone who is so smart (and the JTAG Adpater is genius) such a pain in the f'ing ass to deal with. He is alienating alot of people who could help him, he has coders who have thrown themselves at his feet offering to help and he shits on them.
When people who paid for his product go to his site and ask for help. they get ignored. or talked down to. or banned.` Makes no sense. He seems like a paranoid mf'er, and with his circumvention of dicknet hardware, he probably has reason to be. I have held my tongue for a while but there is no excuse for being so shitty to everyone all the time.
even his admin Exalter has posted something i would love to see him answer... but i doubt that will ever happen.

I guess i should be happy. after 13 software revisions my .013 is up and running. I think Sheribus could stand to take some cues from the Lexus crew. Maybe there are things we don't know. Maybe sheribus only has one limb, and that is his foot, and all that works is the pinky toe, and he can only code so fast. :)

I must say the pinky toe thing was funny.
To make a long story short, I've never met a good coder that wasn't also a quirky SOB. Rather than complaining, learn a new way to test. It's that simple. Right now we have the following options at least:
1-Enigma
2-Armulator
3-Atmega
4-AVR emu with Cemu
5-Max/mel emu with Cemu
6-Max/mel emu with st19xl
7-Rom102 with public or private blocker
8-Rom102 with romcode
9-Rom103 with public or private blocker
10-Rom103 with romcode
11-Many versions of FTA
12-Many versions of DVB
Come on guys. There ain't no shortage of options out there. If your not happy with one, try another.

Guess i could always become a sub.
See, that brings the number of options up to at least 14.

I was one of the lucky ones and I have my enigmas up and running with no freezing. I just don't like the way scherbius is always right and everybody else is wrong. If you argue you get banned.

I dont' know what will happen when we can't get free tv anymore. then what will be all converge to discuss? Just enjoy it while it lasts. The best answer is to test many platforms. emu, plastic, enigma, atmega, FTA (I will deny saying that later), and subscribing too. (if no one subbed and all pirated. we wouldn't have a company to borrow signal from, they would be bankrupt)
