Jtag ? or Computer?

I have a 5900, got vidmod (4wires 2cuts) and jtag. Everything is fine. got u6 u7 and eeprom backup.

Then, today no matter what i try, 0xFFFFFFF error all the time.

BTW, I got a 3100, exactlly same problem, a little difference is i got 3100 to 301 and run ok with atmega, so i can't take 301 to 3100 again.

Triple check you have the connect points correct. Start with the 3100 since it's not vid modded.

yep, and make sure ird is powered on, make sure the correct port is set in jkeys ox378 and be sure your computer sees the com port in this case port = lpt or printer port

good new, 5900 is back, you guys are right, problem is bad connection.

about 3100-010, i resoldered everything but still same error. my 3100 doesn't have jtag port, there is one port on top side called EJTAG, layout like this:

This one was ok only for first time, after first time i burn it to 301. i couldn't see ird in jkey anymore.

You may need a jkeys version that recognizes the single chip .13. There is a version specially made for this. I'm guessing your using jkeys 2.9.9. For the 301 try version jkeys_dp301-013c.
