I have an old computer that I can't get to boot from a Cemu floppy unless I hook up a keyboard and press F1, then it will boot fine. For the life of me I can't figure out a way to eliminate the need to do this in the bios. Anyone have any ideas? I've already adjusted the boot sequence in bios to boot from A: drive first.

Is there an option to disable the hard drives, or IDE channels, in the bios??
Maybe get an updated bios??

JT...There should be an option in your bios to halt on errors. Choose none. Most of the bios had/have this option. I've seen a few that didn't but most did.

I did that MaxmMhz. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Now I'm wondering if the floppy has failed all together. (this will be only the second floppy I've ever seen fail if that should turn out to be the issue) I keep getting drive A: error and then boots from HD. Got to mess with it some more and then I'll post back. Now the puter is acting like there isn't even a floppy drive.

I have seen a few bad ones.....they also will get very dirty inside, a shot of canned air may help.....if not, if you have a surplus computer store nearby, used ones really cheap.

As it turns out, the floppy drive had failed. Traded it out and went back to having to press F1 to boot from A: drive. So I unplugged power from the HD's and now the thing has no choice but to boot from the floppy. Problem solved. Thanks for the suggestions guys. Sometimes working with these old POS's isn't as straight forward as you think it's gonna be.
